Strategic plan 2020-2030

Norway's most accessible port

The Port of Kristiansand will be Norway's most accessible port and continue to be "The Gateway to Europe". Through sustainable and innovative solutions, the port will support the local and regional business community.

90% of all goods to Norway arrive by sea. Ports are critical infrastructure, and their role in supply security and preparedness is more important than ever. The EU requires that ports contribute to a climate-neutral Europe by 2050, which entails new tasks as multimodal logistics hubs for renewable energy carriers, transport, goods and passengers.

Vision

Kristiansand harbor is Norway's most accessible harbour. Our geographical location and easy access make us a strategic hub between Norway, Europe and the world. We will accommodate goods, tourism and business 24/7-365 with high expertise and on-time solutions.

Community mission

Kristiansand havn's social mission is: "Through our unique geographical location, we are a driving force for local and regional business life. By being a sustainable, accessible and efficient traffic port, we will continuously seek innovative solutions to meet the needs of our customers and the community we serve".
