The rules of seaworthiness

  4. Follow the rules of the road: The regulations on giving way, speed and lantern guidance must be observed.
  5. Wear a life jacket or flotation device: Approved flotation devices are mandatory for everyone on board.
  6. Be rested and sober: The blood alcohol limit is 0.8 when driving a boat.
  7. Show consideration: Safety, environment and well-being are a shared responsibility.
