2 new employees in October

Janne Fjeldsgård Andås and Martin Sagedal Holsen are new employees at the port. Both started in October in permanent positions.

While Janne is replacing someone who is retiring, Martin is taking up a new position. With master's degrees and experience from business and the consulting industry, they are good additions to the port.

Both of them have exciting and abundant expertise and experience despite their young age. "I think one of the keys to a good team is the combination of new skills and solid experience. At the port, we have skilled employees who help to develop each other, and we are proud of that," says Ann-Lisbeth Reisænen, Head of Administration.

Both Janne and Martin emphasize that they have already had a very good impression of their colleagues. "Friendly, inclusive and skilled people who make sure you are received in a good way," they both conclude.

I had heard a lot of good things about the port and chose to apply for the position as it was a good match for my skills. Port operations are not something I know much about, but I'm looking forward to learning about it and being part of the changes that are taking place. Everyone has opinions about the port, so it will be both exciting and challenging," says Janne.

Like Janne, Martin didn't know much about port operations before he started his job. As a consultant at Rambøll, he actually had some of his last tasks related to the port and thus got a taste of the work he has now started.

With a background in industrial and electricity grid projects, there's an interface with what I'll be working on here at the port. I'm looking forward to learning more about port operations and contributing to the ongoing electrification. The port's focus on climate and the environment is particularly exciting," says Martin.

The Port of Kristiansand is lucky to have Janne and Martin. We hope they enjoy working with us for many years to come.
